Chef Kae Finds the Perfect Pizza at Piecasso in Stowe, VT

Piecasso Stowe Vermont

I love to cook at all kinds of food in addition to my Thai favorites. In the past couple years, I have learned how to cook American dishes, Italian and even Mexican foods. Wow…so many recipes to remember inside my head but that’s ok. Today, I talked with my husband and told him I would like to start sharing my experiences on my website. He agreed that this would be a great idea and that I should really use my blog more often. So that is what I am going to do!

As most of my beloved customers in Vermont already know many of the places I will visit, my Thai friends are not so lucky! In Thailand, we do not have any wonderful maple syrup gift shops, world class pizza and definitely no Vermont wine and cider tastings. I think I will start with these places and show my Thai friends and family just how lucky I am to live in Vermont.

Today, my husband and I stopped at Piecasso in Stowe, VT. My husband said it was one of the best pizza places in Vermont so I had to try. The pizza was indeed wonderful but my favorites are the garlic knots! These small, chewy balls of dough are simply delicious and to die for. The dough is soft, chewy and stretches like mozzarella cheese. The seasoning they use and of course the garlic make these one of my favorite foods. We cannot easily find good bread like this in Thailand and good pizza is almost impossible to find. I hope many Thai people will come to Vermont and be able to enjoy all of these delightful foods that they cannot get at home.

In the coming weeks, I will be visiting places for wine and cider tasting and Vermont gift shops. I am doing the videos in my own, native Thai language so I would encourage Thai people to come and visit for themselves. Who knows? I might even start a personal tour company to show Thai people and other foreigners around Vermont. They can also order Vermont products too and I will ship them to Thailand or wherever I can. Just send me an email to find out more about that. For now, enjoy the video of my trip to Piecasso and don’t be too jealous. The people at Piecasso are very nice and you would be welcome too!
