Chef Kae is now offering group Thai Cooking Classes at your location or at her home. She’s just getting started and there’s much more to come!

“Kae” was born in Thailand and has owned three restaurants in Bangkok and the surrounding regions. Not only was she the owner but also the head cook. Chef Kae is very meticulous and takes pride in preparing traditional Thai food the way it has been done for generations in Thailand. Thai food is exquisitely delightful and a sensory whirlwind of spices and exotic flavors.

Upon her arrival to America, most notably Vermont, she was surprised to see a number of Thai restaurants throughout the area. Initially, she was excited to try the various restaurants and sample their Thai cuisine but she soon found that the American version of Thai food was much different, lacking many of the ingredients of authentic Thai food. For example, the “Americanized” version of Pad Thai uses boiled noodles, instead of fried and lacks some of the staple ingredients that are a tradition in the real Thai recipes. Kae concluded that if Americans enjoy the variety of Thai food served in the USA, they will really love the traditional, authentic Thai recipes.
